          Event Description

Everyone’s invited on an amazing journey with Elmo to discover the “power of yet” in Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic when the show comes to Fresno this Fall!  Building on a successful tour with Feld Entertainment’s inaugural Sesame Street Live! show last season in partnership with the non-profit educational organization Sesame Workshop, this production features favorite Sesame Street pals Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and more in a brand-new, magical adventure live on stage.

Elmo is inspired to learn a magic trick when he meets magician extraordinaire Justin, who has come to Sesame Street to perform a magic show.  But there’s one problem…Elmo doesn’t know how to do magic!  Through Justin’s encouragement to practice, work hard and never give up, Elmo embarks on an extraordinary journey.  He learns that it’s okay to make mistakes and that magic can be found anywhere when you believe in yourself and the power of what’s yet to be.  Cookie Monster and Gonger uncover the science and fun of baking while Abby Cadabby experiences the transformative abilities of caterpillars.  Big Bird learns about the magnifying magic of shadow puppetry while Rosita orchestrates a rhythmic beat using everyday objects around her.  And artist Grover mixes up the pigment power of the three primary colors.  With high-energy dance numbers and a soundtrack that’s sure to get everyone out of their seats, Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic is an inspirational introduction to live theater and the art of illusion that the entire family will enjoy.

During the Sesame Street Live! pre-show experience, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Elmo and two of his furry friends before the show right in their own neighborhood!  At this unique, up-close-and-personal experience (offered at an additional charge), families can tour the on-stage neighborhood with special surprise visits from Elmo & Friends for photos; participate in a scavenger hunt and receive a special prize upon completion and experience up-close magic tricks from a roaming magician.

                Event Description

Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing at a Las Vegas coffee house. As one of today’s premiere stand-up comedians, Koy sells-out theaters and arenas across the world with his infectious and explosive energy onstage. The comedian pulls inspiration from his family, specifically his son, with material that has universal appeal.

In November 2017, the comedian broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu with 11 sold-out shows and over 23,000 tickets sold. Celebrating this accomplishment, the mayor’s office in Honolulu proclaimed November 24th as “Jo Koy Day.” Koy is also the only comedian to sell out 6 shows at The Warfield in San Francisco, he broke the attendance record at Club Regent Event Centre in Winnipeg with 4 sold-out shows, and is one of the few acts to sellout 2 shows at The Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, FL. In July 2018, Koy was given the prestigious “Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year” award at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

Today, the comedian tours around the world and is currently wrapping up his Break The Mold World Tour just in time for his highly anticipated Netflix special, Comin’ In Hot to release June 2019. Koy will launch his Just Kidding World Tour in August 2019 with all new material not on the previous tour or upcoming special.

Koy released his first stand-up comedy album, Live From Seattle and reached #1 on the Billboard Charts. He can also be heard on his weekly podcast, The Koy Pond with Jo Koy by Starburns Audio. Listeners can dive in each week as Koy welcomes friends and fellow comedians to share their hilarious insights on life. For more info on the podcast, album and tour dates, please visit: jokoy.com.

TruTV has also greenlit the animated comedy pilot, This Functional Family starring Koy. The half-hour animated project puts Koy at the center of a fractured, patched-up, multiracial, dysfunctional family. It draws upon Koy’s real-life experiences and characters featured in his stand-up.

Later this year, fans can also catch Koy on the silver screen co-starring alongside Brandon Routh and Donna Murphy as “Vladimir Lenin” in the upcoming live-action film, Anastasia.

In 2005, Koy had the opportunity of a lifetime when he performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He became one of a select few comics to receive a standing ovation on the show. Since then, Koy has had three highly rated and successful comedy specials on Comedy Central and Netflix, which includes his most recent Netflix special, Jo Koy: Live from Seattle

Koy has appeared on over 140 episodes of Chelsea Lately as a season regular roundtable guest. Other appearances include: The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Beat Bobby Flay, @Midnight with Chris Hardwick, Spike TV’s Adam Carolla & Friends Build Stuff Live, Celebrity Page TV, VH1, World’s Funniest Fails, Sean In The Wild, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Last Call with Carson Daly.
